These rankings are set up to work with current ADP trends. Don't take them and just follow them to a T, rather, strategize according to the rankings. Come up with a plan for each round. Be prepared to change it. Every draft is different, so pay attention to what the other managers are doing. Are they valuing RB's more? Are QB's going early? You have to be able to adjust on the fly, and these rankings are set up to help you do just that. RB's are going much earlier this year, so our rankings are set up to combat that. We typically support a RB heavy approach, but especially this year, it's the way to go. There are so many good WR's you can get late in the draft, that you can even afford to attack other positions early along with RB, like QB or TE. Whatever you do, don't reach. Always look for value. If you feel you can wait on a player, it might be worth it to try. It's pretty rewarding when you wait on a guy and then he comes back around to you the following round. In some cases, QB's are clustered together with the idea that it's a preferred spot to target that position. Also, don't forget to reference the ADP of the site you are on when using these rankings. Different platforms can have vastly different ADP ranges, even if the point systems are exactly the same. Reference the ADP of the site your league is on during your draft, so you can use it to your advantage when working with the board. Remember, just because they're ranked in this order, doesn't mean you should always draft them in that order. Always try to work the draft according to the ADP of the site your league is on, and of course the flow of the draft itself. Be confident. Don't panic. Let your guys come to you, and without further due....

  1. Christian McCaffrey RB CAR - Hard to imagine a scenario where he outperforms himself the last two seasons, but even if you account for a drop off in either facet, running or receiving, there is no other place to put Christian in your rankings. His receiving numbers may actually see an uptick with Teddy Bridgewater. He should receive plenty of highly efficient targets from his new QB, unlike last year where he dealt with an injured Cam Newton, who was also working to adjust his throwing motion, Kyle Allen, and rookie Will Grier. Barring an injury, there is almost no way that McCaffrey doesn’t finish as a top 3 RB.

  2. Alvin Kamara RB NO - Contract year for him, so you can expect his best effort yet. He was fighting injuries that were more serious than anyone knew about last year and still finished as RB11. You always want a player that is able to effectively play through injuries with toughness, rather than sit. As they say, availability is your best ability, well that couldn’t be more true for a top 3 pick in the draft. That’s ‘the straw’ that broke me to put him over Barkley this year. He’s also on a high potent offense, that somehow got better and has a great O-line. Expect him to be a league winner this year.

  3. Saquon Barkley RB NYG - Should bounce back in a big way. A step forward for Daniel Jones, could mean really good things for Barkley and this offense. The schedule may just allow that to happen. The defense is still pretty bad, so expect a lot of negative game script where Barkely sees plenty of work in the passing game. If the offensive line doesn’t improve, then it might not be his best season running the football. Saquon can still do work with a bad offensive line though. He’s worth a top 3 pick in your draft.

  4. Ezekiel Elliott RB DAL - What do you want with an early first round pick? You want consistency. You cannot afford to miss here. Zeke is one of the most, if not the most consistent, RB1’s in the league. You can typically count on a top 5 fantasy finish from Zeke every year. With a favorable schedule this season, a great offense around him, and a very good offensive line, Elliott is set up to have a big season.

  5. Dalvin Cook RB MIN - If we could only get him for 16 games. If you take Cook, then I’d advise you to try to go RB heavy the first few rounds. This is something I encourage anyway, but especially with Cook, you want depth in case he misses time. It will soften the blow when what seems to be the inevitable occurs. Don’t get cute and think you can just safeguard a Cook pick with handcuffing him later on in the draft. Draft other RB’s early, around Cook. I’m not as high on Cook’s backup as most are. Mattison usually gets drafted too early for my liking. Most ‘quality’ handcuffs do. You will almost assuredly get sniped, unless you take the guy way too early. So don’t count on getting Mattison later; Make sure you have additional options at RB. When Cook is healthy, he gets the lions share of the touches and absolutely dominates with them. He reported to camp so we believe the contract concerns are overblown, but it's certainly worth monitoring.

  6. Derrick Henry RB TEN - Henry has one of the most guaranteed work loads in the entire league. It is safe to doubt that the Titans talented rookie, Darrynton Evans, will pose much of a threat to that work load. The team will lean heavily on Henry again in 2020.

  7. Joe Mixon RB CIN - His second half of last year was unlike his first half. It seemed as though coach Taylor realized Mixon’s potential and started using him like the workhorse we’ve been waiting on. Also, with a rookie QB coming in it’s likely the offense will go through Joe. They also have a great schedule that could mean an easier path to success for the young QB and his crew. The passing game will complement the run game and Mixon will get plenty of work in that department too. This could be the year he sees a top 5 finish.

  8. Clyde Edwards-Hellaire RB KC - I think it’s premature to take CEH this early. You have to if you want to have him on your team, though. He probably won’t slip further than this. The hype train is out of control. However, Andy Reid is using him in the featured role at practice according to reports. This usually bodes well for that back. We’ve all seen what this kid can do. It’s gonna be all up to how much the team trusts him and how much Reid wants to run him out there. Will we be getting the Shady McCoy rookie year treatment from Reid (only 155 carries), or, will we get the Kareem Hunt special rookie season (272 carries/53 receptions)? Nobody really knows, and I’d bet that old Andy Reid doesn’t know yet either. I’d bet it’s closer to Hunt, with less carries, but more receptions. If you take CEH in the first, I would approach that draft with the same strategy as a D Cook pick and hammer RB early, or make sure to have a good contingency plan in case the rookie doesn’t get the run we all hope for.

  9. Michael Thomas WR NO - Thomas is easily the best option at WR on the entire board. His volume share speaks for itself, and although that may dip some with new weapons in the fold, his efficiency should continue to be top notch and may even improve some.

  10. Kenyan Drake RB ARI - The Cardinals didn’t invest in the position. Chase Edmonds isn’t going to see the ball except to complement. Drake is their guy. If I told you that you could get a bell cow back at the end of the first round you would be interested, right? Well…...

  11. Miles Sanders RB PHI - Doug Pederson doesn’t typically roll with one back as a workhorse, but everything is pointing toward Sanders breaking that trend. The team has talked about him as if he will be featured, and they’re saying his role in the passing game is increasing.

  12. Davante Adams WR GB - Adams has a nice slate of defenses in front of him in 2020. If the reports about Allen Lazard are true, and he is emerging as a good number 2 WR for the team, that could draw attention away from Adams and open things up for him some. Outside of that, the team is relying on 2nd year tight end Jace Sternberger to take a huge leap forward this year, and from there the options are not really all that appealing. MVS had his chances last year, but didn’t impress. That means there is still a huge target share awaiting Adams this year. Besides, he is always open; Rodgers knows that. His target share will be one of the highest in the NFL again.

  13. Tyreek Hill WR KC - Being incorrectly written off as a risky boom/bust player this year. There’s been a lot more boom since Pat took over as the starter. Hill is the type of player that can win you your week, any week.

  14. Aaron Jones RB GB

  15. Austin Ekeler RB LAC - Last year’s RB4 is set up to have another very good season. The offensive line is concerning, but their schedule is pretty favorable overall. Ekeler caught over 90 balls last year, and should see a lot of work in the passing game again. Additionally, mobile QB’s tend to benefit starting RB’s. Whether it’s Tyrod or rookie Justin Herbert out there, Ekeler is expected to be running with a mobile QB this year. One can safely forecast a decrease in receptions, but an increase in his carries this year is likely. Expect the team to get rookie Joshua Kelly involved, along with Justin Jackson, but Ekeler will dominate 3rd down work, and sometimes lines up as a receiver as well.

  16. Josh Jacobs RB LV

  17. Nick Chubb RB CLE

  18. Julio Jones WR ATL - Ryan has a tough schedule, but the WR’s do not. This should mean that Julio shouldn’t have any trouble producing as a top WR yet again. Many people believe that Calvin Ridley is gonna all of the sudden be the WR1 in Atlanta. I would caution against that expectation. Julio is an alpha dog, and he’s still the most skilled WR in the league. Lower leg injuries are more likely to slow Julio than Ridley.

  60. Odell Beckham Jr WR CLE - On a run heavy team, with two good running backs, and he's not even his QB's favorite target. They also signed Austin Hooper and are expected to run a lot of two tight end sets. That doesn't sound like a bounce back year for Odell.

  136. Anthony Miller WR CH

  137. Phillip Rivers QB IND - If you're the late round QB type, and your league doesn’t punish harshly for INT’s and sacks, then Rivers could be a decent option this year foe you. Known for his gunslinger style, Rivers is not averse to taking risks to move the ball. However, as he does this he typically puts up plenty of yards and TD’s along the way. He has some promising young playmakers at WR along with old speedster TY Hilton, and verteran Jack Doyle at tight end. Rivers also has a very good receiving back to throw to in Nyheim Hines. Plenty of weapons to spread the ball around too. This also may be the best offensive line Rivers has ever played with. He showed some signs that he may be slowing down last year, but he’s in a good situation, and he’s primed to give us whatever he’s got left. It may be late in his career, but Rivers has everything at his disposal to succeed.
