Remember Street Fighter? Some of you may be too young to recognize the pun in the title. However, shouting the word HADOUKEN in a room full of people will certainly trigger some nostalgia from anyone old enough to remember the popular video game and it's many sequels from the late 80's and 90's. When we watch Brandon Aiyuk's film, we get excited. We want to shout. Especially because it's easy to envision him doing a lot of the same things on the field for the 49ers. He's going to be a special weapon for them, and much like the world famous fictional character 'RYU' did when he executed his attacks, we will be shouting our war cry along with Shanahan as he unleashes his new beast for the revenge tour. AIYUKEN!! This is the 2nd installment of the breakdown. Let's dive in.

As you seen in part one, Aiyuk can adjust to off target throws well. Here's another ball that is off track, but he goes up and gets it. He also gets right upfield and makes the most of the play. High effort, always, from Brandon Aiyuk.

Aiyuk fits the culture. Good locker room guy. He will block for his teammates downfield. He's got a nice frame for it. He's very strong. He misses the first block on this play, but doesn't give up. He makes sure to get his hands on someone and take them out of the play. You can't ask for much more from a wide receiver. Shanahan has "a type" when it comes to recievers, Aiyuk is it.

Aiyuk is gonna contribute right away. Shanahan has been dreaming up ways to get him involved since we started scouting him. All college receivers need refinement in the pros, and Brandon is no different in that regard. He will probably need some time to get a feel for the speed of the game, and adapt to the more skilled players in the secondary he will be going against. However, similar to what we seen with Deebo Samuel last year, Shanahan will make it a point to get him involved however he can. Aiyuk will deliver as long as he has the ball in his hands.

Speaking of having the ball in his hands, the guy is an athletic freak. The play below wasn't an outlier. B.A. jumped over people on several occasions during his college career. This defender really was aiming for him. It's hard not to laugh when you freeze the frame and see it.

Shanahan is going to love giving the ball to Aiyuk in space and letting him create. This play is dead in the water, but it's Brandon's world and he's determined to get his. What a cutback, AIYUKEN!!

There wasn't enough talk during the pre-draft process about this, but Aiyuk is an underrated route runner. He sinks his hips so smoothly here and breaks to the outside. Very nice route, and very tough to defend. Brandon has said he studies and mimics Odell Beckham Jr on the field. We see it.

Again, you see the defenders hips turned, he's commited to the inside. Brandon sticks his foot in the ground and takes advantage.

Please check out part 3 of the breakdown to get the full picture of what Brandon Aiyuk is gonna do for the 49ers offense!
